RULES & REGULATIONS

HACKATHON


  • Each team will consist of 2-4 members. In case you don’t have a team, you can reach out to us on Discord, and we will pair you up with someone.
  • Each team should choose one of the given tracks.
  • The solution should be based on the problem statement for that particular track
  • For competing in Round 1, the team has to submit their idea in the form of a presentation or a solution document on the shared template
  • Your submissions will be evaluated by a panel of judges on criteria (Feasibility,Innovation, Social Empowerment, Impact, Adaptability, Business Model, Sustainability).
  • If qualified for round 2, the team has to develop a working product or a prototype or a service-based business model to demonstrate the idea submitted in round 1.
  • The evaluation criteria for round 2 will be based on the end product submitted and it would be reviewed by the beneficiaries (i.e., the target audience) before the evaluation by the panel of judges.
  • The Winner of each Track shall have a One-on-One pitch with Track Sponsor. The Track Winner can either accept the Track Reward, in such a scenario partial ownership of the winning idea will be transferred to the respective track sponsor. However, the Winning Team can also choose to negotiate on equity if the team is willing to work in partnership with the Track Sponsor for end-to-end delivery.
  • The organizing committee would not publicize any of the solution documents submitted by the team to anyone apart from the panel of judges and the respective track sponsors.
